INSTRUCTIONS

Wind the shuttle with the ecru thread, following instructions noted in the Thread Guide.

Tat ring 1, including starting picot A, as shown in the Tatting Diagrams. Reverse work and tat the first chain (refer to Tatting Basics for ring and chain instructions).

Reverse work and tat ring 2, joining to the starting picot as you work. Reverse work and tat the second chain.

Reverse work and tat ring 3, joining to the starting picot as you work. Tat ring 4, including starting picot B, as shown in the Tatting Diagram.

Continue in this manner to tat the lower half, then the upper half of the headband.

Sew the rubber band to the wrong side of the motifs at each end of the headband, as shown in the diagram below.
